Product Review: Miod’s Rejuvenating Face Oil

Product Rev- Miod face oil

“Pure, honest and 100% natural skincare that nourishes the skin and respects the environment”. As soon as I read the philosophy behind this beautiful handmade skincare range I was in love. Focusing on the use of nutrient rich, certified organic, cold pressed plant oils and essential oils, all of the products in the Miod range are absolutely beautiful and your skin loves you for it after just a few short days of use.

With winter knocking on our doors it is important that we listen to our skin and ensure that we are giving it the nourishment it needs through our skincare range. In cooler months it is best to adopt a beautiful moisture rich night cream and the rejuvenating oil from Miod is my pick this season.

Packed full of vitamins and essential fatty acids, it will nourish and moisturise, bringing new life to dry and tired skin while at the same time helping to balance oily complexions. This deeply hydrating oil is suitable for most skin types and would be a suitable day cream for dry and mature skin types.

This product is made up of only 6 ingredients. Yep it really is and they are all certified organic. It consists of 4 beautiful cold pressed oils; apricot, jojoba, evening primrose and rose hip and contains the organic essential oils of frankincense and neroli.

All of Miod’s products are:
– 100% natural
– Full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids
– Not tested on animals. Miód is accredited by Choose Cruelty Free.
– Made in Australia
– Hand made in small batches to ensure highest quality and freshness
– Made with care of impact on the wider community
– In recyclable packaging
– Free from palm oil
– Free from mineral oils, artificial colours and fragrances, artificial preservatives or any other chemicals
– Free from GMOs (Genetically modified organisms)
Note: This product is vegan but their whole range isn’t as they do use some bee products in their lip balm and moisturisers.

After only using this oil for a couple of nights I noticed an improvement in the appearance of fine lines, redness and acne scaring. It’s soft scent of frankinscense and neroli is faint and not overpowering. I love to use just a drop or 2 on my skin just before applying a powder foundation or during the day under a light day cream if I feel my light day cream is not quite cutting it and my skin is feeling a little dry.

The 30ml bottle will last you all through autumn, winter and probably beyond as you only use about 3 drops for your face and decolletage. To give you a bit of an idea I am currently using a tester which is 15ml. I have had it and been using it pretty much nightly for approx 2 months and I have only used 1/5 of it, or to give you a picture it has just got down to the top of the label. Amazing right? And at the price of $24 this is totally something that is affordable and within your budget! I actually think that it is a ridiculously cheap price considering all of the ingredients are certified organic, it is handmade, cruelty free and Australian made. Plus don’t forget all the love these products are made with!

Because I love you guys so much and want you to experience the beauty of gorgeous, affordable organic skincare products I am giving one lucky reader a bottle of the ‘Rejuvenating Oil’.
