Product Reviewed: Winter Skin by Eco Tan
Amount of time trialed: I have used this product on and off for over a year
What Eco Tan has to say about the product: A daily nourisher that builds to a honey glow after a few applications. Best suited to fair to medium skin tones. Contains gorgeous rose water and hydrates the skin without any hidden nasties or synthetics. Nourishes both face and body.
How does it feel and my thoughts: It is very light on the skin. Has a slight scent which smells floral and a little beachy. It does have a slight fake tan scent but not offensive. It does not feel sticky on your skin once dried. Takes about 2 mins to dry. I found this product really easy to apply. You do not have to worry about applying it unevenly as it blends with your skin colour and the colour builds up slowly over time as you apply it. To get a good colour I usually apply it daily for the first 3-4 days and then every second or third day to maintain it. The thing that I love about it is that you can apply it brush your teeth or do your hair and then it is dried and you can get dressed. The colour is my favourite and no one ever believes me that I have a fake tan on. The colour fades naturally and is not noticeable. It truly is a beautiful healthy tan!

A bit about the company: Sonya Driver became consumed with finding a safe sunless tanning alternative after her sister was diagnosed with a melanoma at only thirty years of age 5 years ago . Not only was there not a single organic self-tanning product on the market at that time, Sonya soon discovered the potential health risks in the usage of everyday cosmetic products. She wasn’t prepared to use these products on her own skin and was even more concerned about the risk they posed to her sister, given her cancer diagnosis. It was in these very moments that Eco Tan, her organically certified company, was born in her home kitchen. All of the Eco Tan range does not contain synthetic colouring and is made from Chocolate (cacao), herbs, fruit extracts and chamomile. All ingredients are certified organic or natural, she states that she will not compromise quality and safety for the mighty dollar.

Verdict: I love this product and it has become a regular in my beauty kit. It is quick and easy to use, I am usually slapping some on my legs as I run out the door in summer and great to use on my arms in winter if I want a bit of a sun kissed look. Can be used on the face too!
